I narrow down the overwhelming choices to select a few that are right for your space and your taste. I am told I am a great listener because I want you to love it. Design trends might be in today and I am happy let you know about them but I also want you to love it until it is time to paint again. From years of experience, I know what factors, like light and the kind of paint, will effect how the color will 'read' once it goes from the little chip to your home.
I love helping people reach a place where they love their space. I also love creating designs that work! There is something so rewarding about a look that is perfect.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I evaluate what elements will determine the color scheme. I assess the light because that has an enormous impact on how color turns out. I ask lots of questions of my clients to understand their taste. Then, I present options that will be beautiful and we discuss the best ones. I explain the next steps needed, like sampling, and how to learn to make the best decisions. Some times, we need to adjust the options and dial it in so it is perfect.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I completed the Joanne School of Design. I worked in paint stores for several years to understand color, and paint, and finishes. With years of experience I continue to learn by asking questions and always following up to see how the results turned out.
