Luchia's Dog Grooming
About
I groom dogs in my home salon. This generally means dogs are more relaxed and less stressed. Appointment only and I can normally fit them in within 24-48 hours.
My shop is small, quiet and does not smell due to the fact I only take 4 dogs per day. This means your dog will be less stressed, more relaxed and happier as they feel more at home.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
email or text me all about your dog (age, breed, behavior, etc). I'll then respond with any additional questions I may have and quote you a price.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I apprenticed with a master grooming for 1 year and attended the Paragon schoold of dog grooming.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Full grooms start at $55 for a small dog thta is seen every month. Baths start at $40.
Prices go up based on coat quality, behaviors and the frequency of grooming.
The average price is $65.
There is a $10 up-charge if the dog is matted, bites, overly anxious, etc.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Most of my customers require shave downs or want breed specific cuts.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Consistency. Don't bounce around groomers. It's important for your dog to get used to grooming at an early age and going to the same groomer time and again, helps with that.
Don't brush, comb your dog. It will help get out snarls and matts and keep your dog's coat in best order.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
When was the last time my dog was groomed?
The age of my dog.
How short/long I want the cut?
If my dog is matted, am I willing to accept the outcome of having a very short cut?
