Suzi O’Brien of Ecolux worked with my husband and myself to design a complicated stairway for the entry to our home. She guided us and our contractor through the many decision necessary to arrive a structurally strong and visually appealing plan. Her use of the 3D program was key to all getting on the same page. Suzi also helped us enliven the arrangement of our art work throughout our house. All the walls look newly refreshed. Thank you Suzi OBrien! Edith Butler
Suzi takes the stress out of interior design. I've got strong opinions, and it is important to me to feel respected when working with someone, and what I love about Suzi is that she hears you. She is really good at finding solutions that work within my budget and style - there are almost too many choices out there! Without ever feeling scolded or contradicted, she helps avoid what could have been time consuming, hard to live with, and costly errors. In addition, she's calm and an all around pleasant person. You spend so much time with a designer through a project, that I think that is pretty important. Suzi is up to date on the state of the art eco-friendly materials and strategies, which didn't apply in my case, but is of course what most of us want these days. Go green!
We start with a phone interview so we can both learn a bit more about each other and the project. Then I come to the home to spend time getting to know my potential clients. Its really them picking me and me picking them as this relationship is critical to a smooth and enjoyable experience. If we click, then we make a plan together.
