I started this business when I was 24 years old and now am 50, My father and grandfather were contractors. We are well established and have 60 + full time employees

Home owners, Winerries, comercial and residential developers utility companies, NRG, PGE, Hewellit Packard, Longs Drugs, Burger King, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Caltrans, State of California, Camp Roberts Military Facility, Camp San Luis, City Of Atascadero. We have constructed 100's of custom homes and remodels

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
make sure they provide a very detailed estimate including specifications and project schedule
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
actual scope of project and expectations... Typically we would use a design build platform which includes first, design, drafting, and engineering. Once we are all happy with the design then we provide a construction estimate and schedule, and only then do we enter into a construction contract.
