About Us

Back in 1988, Zaharis Landscaping consisted of a single lawnmower and two brothers with a passion for transforming dirt lots and overgrown yards into botanical works of art. At night, the owner John Zaharis would read books written by gardening experts to learn more about California’s climate and the plants that would thrive here. He passed his contractor’s license exam in record time and on the first try. The company has grown considerably since then, but that passion still remains. We remain committed to excellence, and we’re not satisfied unless our customer is satisfied. From the first blade of grass we mow to the last bulb we plant, our experience and expertise informs everything we do.
