What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When you bring your pup to their private spa day appointment, make sure to have any vaccination records available. I'll meet your furry best friend and help them become acclimated to the salon while I have you fill out a short form. During the appointment it's best if pet parents go about their day, as pups tend to focus on their mom & dad more than their grooming; if they can see, hear or even smell them in the vicinity. Appointments take at least 3 hours because I will never rush through the process. I want it to be a calming and refreshing time for the dogs in my care.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
A lifetime of experience with dogs sets me apart. Starting in the animal professional field as a kennel technician was a great step in. I'm being trained by the owner of the salon I work in and she's a great teacher.

These are approximated prices, price is determined when I am able to see the dog/cat in person.
Bath includeds -
Bath, dry, brush, ears and nails.
Cleanup includes -
Bath, dry, brush, nails, ears, trimming around eyes, trimming paw pads and sanitary areas.
Groom includes -
All of the above, plus body cut.
Deshedding is all natural shampoo and conditioner treatments followed by a special process to help release the shedding fur.

Being a client, the groomer recognized my mind and heart was set on working with animals, she invited me to join the team. It's one of the best things that's ever happened to me.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
The best way to know a dog groomer is knowledgeable is to ask them how they feel about "shaving your double coated dog". A double coated dog should never be shave (aside from medical reasons).
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
The length they want their dog's fur, if your dog have skin issues or allergies. Think about their temperament with new people. Does your dog shed? How are their nails?
