As LEED-accredited and Zero-Net Energy (ZNE) architects, we stay true to three decades of ecological commitment, showing that green architecture can be implemented in a practical and cost-effective manner. We utilize an “Integrated Design Process” at each phase of project development, we arrange meetings with the architect, engineers and the Owner. This allows for efficiency in the design process and ensure that goals, objectives, constraints and preferences are considered by all parties affected. This arrangement also allows for the anticipation and coordination of difficult situations, and allows for the Owner to be directly involved in the detailed development of the design.

Our approach is simple: define a clear concise project delivery process geared to client needs, set definitive program and performance requirements early on, match scope to budget availability, and minimize unnecessary changes along the way. The principles outlined above, once established, are firmly embedded in our management and control strategy. Every sub-consultant on our team will understand what is required of them and where their effort fits in the whole. A roles and responsibilities matrix will be developed to make certain of this and to avoid any possible overlap of architectural and engineering effort.

We are proud of our record of delivering exemplary projects and getting them built on budget. Over 90% of our projects completed, bid or under construction, have come in at or under the budget, even difficult to estimate remodel construction. We achieve this by establishing realistic budget and scope at the outset, then creating wellcoordinated plans and specifications. Finally, we work hard to get the most qualified contractors bidding on our projects.
