I have been grooming for 20 years and started grooming from home to offer a one on one experience. I have a fully functional grooming room that offers a peaceful experience for your loved furry family member.
I grew up in a horse ranch and love working with animals. I enjoy grooming because each pet is like a fresh canvas and they enjoy the way they feel after they have had their spa day.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I greet the pet parent and pet have you fill out a little paperwork while i greet the pet further allowing them to sniff around at their own pace. I like it to be a pleasant experience. We go over what you want if your pet has any issues or allergies I should be aware of. I brush out bath dry by hand and style to your request. I call/text when ready and they roam around while they wait for you. I only have one family at a time. No intermingling with other animals. I give treats if allowed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been grooming for over 20 years was a bather prior to that. My mother was a groomer before me. I learned my skill over years of hands on training and care.

Yes
small groom are approx $50 (upto 25#)
Medium groom $60 (26-40#)
large groom $70 nothing over 65#
these are base prices and depend on temper and hair condition. Hand scissor hair cuts require more time so price can be more.
How did you get started in this business?
My mother was a groomer. My best friends mom who taught my mother was a poodle show groomer. I Started grooming horses then went to dogs, cats, rabbits and guinnie pigs.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Ask questions get a feel of who they are. You will be entrusting your furry family member to them. Find out what is included some places have low prices but includes bare minimum like no nail trim or ear cleaning not even conditioner.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
What they want done haircut, trim, deshed, if you see a picture of what you want as long as it's possible with your pet. Pictures help explain what you want so their is nothing lost in translation. If you are shopping by price be aware of last minute add ons.
