Ever since I was little I loved helping people in any way I could. I am a problem solver. When I mee someone who is not happy with their space, I start visualizing the way I see a completed space in a three dimentional format. I am very creative that way. I love it when a client puts his or hers trust in me and is elated with the final results. It is a personal satisfaction to see my clients happy. It's kind of like having perfored on stage and you wait for curtain call. I like moving people that way to a whole different level of existing.

Frequently asked questions

First, I need to meet them in person and see their existing space to assess the space. After listening to them and getting a full understanding of what they're requiring from me, I will ask about a budget they have in mind, and if they don't I will do a schematic budet for the work they need to see if that fits in what they're looking for. Once we're in full understanding of each other, I will send a formal letter of agreement to signa and to get the project started.

I have over twenty five years of experiece in the design and construction industry. I have a BFA from Texas Tech University with a strong emphasis in arhitectural studies.I am NCIDQ Certified,(National Council for Interior Design Qualification). As well as a Professional member of ASID,(American Society of Interior Designers). I'm also GREEN AP with the Sustainable Furnishings Council.

I have ubtained a Design Patent from US Patent Office for my HOLD IT ribbon hangers. These hangers are used to display rosette award ribbons. www.holdit-ribbons.com

Every project is different and every client's needs are unique. I base my fees on what the projec requirements are to custom tailor each and every project individually.

I've always been in love with the Arts. I remember when my mother would take me to her friends homes which they got together for an afternoon tea, I would look around and make suggestions to the homeowner as what changes they needed to make to their homes. I was wasy maybe six or seven, so they thought it was really cute to hear my suggested, but a fw times they would follow on on my suggestions and were pleasantly surprised of the the outcome. I also studied Clasical Ballet from an ealry age. Studying Ballet requires a certain type of discipline and structure which helps me when I design.

My customers range from a beachy bonglow to extremely elegant residences.  I have design many residences both locally and internationally. I love clients who appreciate the art of interior design and who understand the importance of great design in their lives. Whe I worked for Trammell Crow, a large developer in Dallas, Tx, he told me to never turn down a job, even if it's small because great things can come from that one small job. I have followed on Mr.Crow's advice, and I've had many wonderful projects just by accepting a small project. I love to build a trust between me and my clients, that way we can realted to each other easily. Currently, I'm working on a home in Germany, which is a little out of my area here in Los Angeles.

I am currently workin gon a residential project in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA. This project is for a very lovely couple with two grown kids. They called me because they wanted a designer who was loacted near them. When I first met them, they only wanted their two gues bathrooms renovated. But after the bath remodels, I started a complete renovation of their kitchen, which is one of the most beautiful designs I've done. Currently I'm in the process of remodeling the master bath and the rest of the house. I love how well I communicate with them, they truly trust me and appreciate what I've done for them.

The advice I give a customer looking to her a pro in the design business is to meet them face-to-face to see if they relate with the designer. See how well the designer understand what it is they want from them. And of course, a great portfollio of designer's work is a must.

The questions customers should think through before talking to a designer is to see how many years of experiece they have and what types of projects they've worked on. Itis important to ask about their availability to avoid any scheduling conflicts. The customer should make an appointment with the designer to meet in person to see if there is a connection between them before going forward.
