About
With there being many horror stories in the news about serious injuries or even death of a beloved pet in grooming salons, I completely understand the concern of dropping your pet off to the groomers.
That being said, attempting to cut your pets hair or nails without proper safety techniques, you could seriously injure your pet! You can also injure yourself by bending over and attempting to control your pet without proper equipment. And that equipment is expensive!
I’d like to help by offering in home grooming for dogs and cats. I have been grooming professionally for 10 years, and have a deep passion for all animals. Many have had horrible experiences with groomers and tried to bite me at one point, now come running to me. One client said her dog gets crazy excited when she says “wanna see Chelsea?!”...that is the stuff that keeps me going!
What you can expect is professionalism, quick and quality grooms (for 1 small dog avg. 45 mins to an hour) and competitive pricing with the peace of mind that you can see all that I do and how I am handling your pet/s.
I offer veteran and senior discounts!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with new clients, I like to spend time with them and their pet prior to the service starting! I go over my process in person and acknowledge everything up front before I begin working. I want to make sure I have an accurate understanding of what kind of haircut they are looking for, as well as learn what would make the pet most comfortable.
I need a bathroom to groom in, and possibly a couple towels! But I bring all my own equipment, shampoos and an array of bows or bandannas! Any questions will be promptly answered by me if you have them. Feel free to reach out at any time.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I completed my training in 2009, and have continued that training yearly at seminars and classes in order to stay sharp and with current styles. I am adept at akc breed clips, pet grooms, puppy cuts and Asian fusion. I am pet first aid and cpr certified.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Being that labor depends on pets size, condition, temperament and service requests, it’s difficult to have a standard pricing system.
I will take the breed of your pet to calculate a quote, (pictures help) but it isn’t until I’ve completed the service that I can have an exact price. I won’t go over what I initially quoted, but I give a decent range until I can properly calculate!
How did you get started in this business?
I grew up in Idaho and always had a passion for animals. When I moved to CA at 18, I immediately began working at a self service dog wash. I loved the people, the dogs and was especially drawn to the groomer. Her transformations were amazing and I knew that was exactly what I wanted to do. She began my basic training until I could go to school. I’ve been doing it ever since and can’t imagine doing anything else.
