North Main Pet Lodge

Family owned and operated with an extensive knowledge of animal care. The Prouty have been caring for animals in Walnut Creek since the early 1950s. Jeanne and Jay Prouty owned pet shops on Locust St. where their residents ranged from snakes to spider monkeys. From the 1960s through the 1970s they were raising and showing Standard Poodles and Jeanne is still very active in the Bay Area Poodle Club.
