Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to come and see the job first hand and talk to you in person about what your goals are so I can decide if I can help or suggest someone else that might be better suited for.your needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My father was a property manager and I have been doing property maintenance repairs and remodels all over the Bay Area for as long as I can remember.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Given the vastness of area and diverse nature of homes in our area it is impossible to have one set of prices to cover all. I try and be consistent from job to job but things like location and age of home can have too big of an impact on job cost to not take it into account when quoting job prices.
How did you get started in this business?
I have been doing this work my entire life to deal ne degree or another even when I was a stay at home Dad for 14 years I was still taking and doing small side jobs here and there. I think I was barely walking on my own when I picked up my first paintbrush and hammer so to say how ai started in this business I guess is to say I was born into it.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have done everything from residential to commercial to Tennant improvement work for people from every place and class and walk of life and I pride myself on giving all of them the same honesty and matter of fact additude no matter who they are. Even if I don't think your not going to like what I have to say I'm going to say it and I can do anything you ask me to do as long as you don't ask me to do it wrong.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Take your time to develop a plan and then find someone you are comfortable with and feel as if you can trust them and then stick to the plan.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Have a clear picture of what your end goal is and then be open to suggestions about how to get there. Just because you know one way worked in another instance doesn't mean a different way might work better for another or by another person.
