It is all on a case by case bases. While standard pratice is 6%, this is not always the case, it depends on complexity of transacation.
How did you get started in this business?
After a bad experience in real estate, my parents sent me to learn all about real estate and get my license. Thankfully they were able to save their home and continue to invest throughout the years with someone they trusted on their side.

Promoted listing in an auction like manner, with multiple offers over asking price and very motived buyers. Quick close of escrow with the highest return to seller's pocket. Had the privilage of helping Elderly downgrade from a 5 bedroom home to a modest cottage. :)
