Manners Please is a full service pet company, offering everything from training, walking and pet sitting, to specialized service training. I believe training should be fun for both the pet parent and the pet! If you are not having fun, you are doing it wrong! Building trust with your dog is the foundation to a meaningful and bonding relationship.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet my pet sitting clients in person to answer any questions they may have and get acquainted with their pets. I make sure they have all their concerns addressed and let them get to know me a little more so they feel comfortable with me.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am pet CPR certified.
I hold a certification in canine training.
I am a mentor trainer for Animal Behavior College.
I am an evaluator for AKC Canine Good Citizen Program.
I attended annual classes with the Association of Pet Dog Trainers to continue my education in canine training.

Pet sitting in the client's home is $95 per day.
Pet sitting in my home starts at $65 per day.
Training in the client's home starts at $85 per session.
Board and train in my home starts at $750 per week.
How did you get started in this business?
I was in an industry that was not stable and not very rewarding. I chose the pet training and pet care industry because I wanted to help people and the pets they love.

I work with all breeds.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Having clients pass their exam to become therapy dogs is always a very rewarding event for me because that dog goes on to help even more people.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Ask lots of questions. If something doesn't feel right to you, trust it.
