Being a fashion designer for major known retailers has taught me the balance of aesthetics along with project management. I am great at being left brain and right brain to get the desired space you crave.
I am easy to work with while being completely professional. I believe in clear communication in order to get what you desire. I am not afraid to speak up if there is a concern.
Creativity...CREATIVITY...Creativity!!! Thinking about aesthetics in any fashion appeals to me. I am passionate about design, may it be interiors, fashion or events...I love to make spaces, people or entertainment the best it can be. Everyone deserves to live their best life and I find absolute joy in collaborating with them to find it and then make it happen!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I give a free consultantation to see if we are both the right fit.
Then once we agree to partner, I start the research and create a vision board.
From there, I meet again with my client(s) to share the vision they hired me for plus give some other suggestions that works with in their space and budget.
Once the vision is approved, I will start shifting to a project manager for setting up the project task and services. I will oversee the needs of other contrators as needed.
My focus and strengths are seeing a fresh vision for any space, building a cohesive story that works within the style the client(s) requested, colors, textures, shapes and room proportions and project management.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a trained fashion designer from Fashion Institute of Technology. Have been a professional retail designer for 28 years. My extensive knowledge of fabrics, colors, designs, shapes and proportions married very smoothly with interiors. Having the right fit is key to a body and a room. Designing rooms and spaces has been a hobby of mine since I was very young. I have been studying it my whole life.

Flat Rate...$3000 for every 4 weeks.
Hourly Rate...$60/hour
Referral Rate...$100/per
How did you get started in this business?
Can't remember I time when I didn't style a space. It started very young for me (yes, I was that kid who rearranged my room often to see and feel how to live in a new arrangement). Then in 2020, I made the shift from a fulltime fashion designer to an interior designer.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Now I have managed many events since but this one is my personal fav. I designed my own milestone birthday and invited everyone I knew. It was a blast and I enjoyed the rare opportunity I got to throw a party. It was themed out!
COCKTAILS & CAFTANS... I had it on the beach with everyone in caftans and a cocktail in hand. It was very 1960's Slim Aarons vibe and the music was dreamy. We had fun toasting to the sunset and letting the moon rise. You can say I was not celebrating being over the hill but rather be OVER THE MOON about life!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Be honest with them on what you like and don't like. They are there to make your space come to life.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Their realistic budget is key. To make successful changes understand that there is both a service/labor fee and a product fee.
You are hiring what you can not do, it really can be worth the professional eye to give you the guidance to get there.
