Price is determined by the listing.
How did you get started in this business?
I was looking for a meaningful job that would allow me the freedom to be my own boss and provide for my family. I loved it so much I went from Part time to full time in 6 months. Now I am a top agent in my region, a trainer and a Real Estate school instructor.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I work with all types of home buyers. Military (VA), first-timers are a specialty, and investors. Also, there are many types of home sellers I work with as well. Probate, Trust sales, short sales to name a few.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Closing on a clients home is one of my favorite days! The joy they get from getting exactly what they want is what makes me get out of bed.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Make sure you ask questions and that the person you are asking is able to answer them or give you the resource you need. It's ok to interview 2-3 agents to compare.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
The main points usually come back to money. If you're thinking of buying a home:
- Make sure you have SOME money to use. There's always a cash cost to buying a home, even with Zero Money Down programs.
- If you've made a large financial purchase in the last 2-3 months, be prepared for that to negatively effect your outcome.
- Credit K***a is NOT an accurate FICO® score! It uses a different algorithm to calculate your score and will not be the same when a lender looks at it.
For someone who is thinking of selling:
- Be sure to know how much you owe on your house. Whether it's a first or second mortgage, or a lien from solar panels or a HERO loan.
- Start decluttering NOW. If it's not essential to everyday life, box it and store it. When an agent, like me, shows up to go over the pricing and listing plan, we can better see what a potential buyer will see and be able to help making your home show-ready. (You only get ONE first impression!)
