About

Training is a lifestyle, it’s not just something you do with your dog for 15 minutes a day. Stay Waggy’s focus is to create a happy, confident, well-adjusted pup that can Stay Waggy no matter what your lifestyle is. My partner and I have built a program that will help you create an unbreakable relationship with your pup built on trust, respect, and teamwork. Our program is not only focused on the typical obedience commands but also creating a mindset with you and your pup that will keep you both balanced. We do this by starting your pup off right with a customized training plan. Your pup will not be staying in a typical board setting, instead your pup will be living with us in our home learning how to be respectful in your home. We will provide leadership, structure, coping skills, and desensitization. Your pup will learn confidence, accountability, socialization, and obedience. Once your pups stay with us is over you will receive training on how you can be Waggy and Stay Waggy with your pup for a lifetime.

    Frequently asked questions

I do not use a standard pricing system because it is important to me that my clients recieve a customized experiance. It is my goal to always exceed the expectations my clients have during training and boarding their furbabies.

I was hired on as a dog trainer for a company in San Diego. I was so excited to learn everything that I could about training dogs the right way. I couldn’t wait to utilize and share everything I had learned with passionate dog owners like me. I really felt like it was my opportunity to help people through their own struggles. I soon realized that although all the mechanics of dog training were there the company that I worked for did not always have the best interest at heart when it came to the dogs we trained and the clients we had. Yes, we could quickly teach dogs the basics, but something was missing. The dogs looked flat and bored. We spent no time building a relationship with the dog or the client. It all seemed fake and money driven. This was not the way I wanted to train a dog or a client. I parted ways with this company knowing that I needed to do more, I needed to do better. I had decided that I would take matters into my own hands and that is when the Stay Waggy Philosophy was born.
