Hi my name is Kevin Shirk, owner of Quest Property Inspections.

The inspector’s responsibility is to provide you with a complete and thorough inspection and inspection report. Our report is not an appraisal of value but represents the condition of the property at the time of the inspection. The report also is an informational tool to assist you when making a purchase or investment decision. It allows you to fully understand the condition of the property including any defects that may require attention – to prevent further deterioration or cause safety issues. The inspection is not a “pass or fail” test but is an information-gathering process to give you, the buyer, a good understanding of what you’re buying. The home inspection is based on the observations made by the Inspector on the date of the inspection, and not a prediction of future conditions.

I have been a licensed general contractor in Southern California for over 25 years. My specialties are Commercial, Residential, Apartment, and Restaurant Construction Services.
A significant part of my career was spent inspecting structures and providing detailed reports to my customers as to the current condition and cost of construction or repair specifically for the property they were looking to purchase. Over the years I have developed a reporting system that allows me to give you – the customer – a detailed Home Inspection Report that is professional, easy to read, and most important, will assist you the Home Buyer in making one of the biggest decisions of your life.
