One hour in home private within 10 miles of Chatsworth, $50 an hour. A bit more further away.

How did you get started in this business?
Always had dogs, wanted to do more with them and make their lives better and more fun.
Worked as a volunteer for LA Animal Services and saw that many shelter dogs had behavioral issues that could easily be fixed with training. I want to keep dogs in their homes.
What types of customers have you worked with?
All types, mostly dog lovers.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Agility trial where my dog did especially well.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Be sure the trainer uses positive reinforcement methods, no choke, prong, or shock collars. That doesn't build obedience, just fear.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Make a list of your issues and ask what methods the trainer uses.
