My name is Dulce and I’d like to have the opportunity of being your new Dog sitter and Groomer. I’m able to provide a safe and comfortable haven for your family pet. I ask that you bring your pet’s bed and blanket so that they have a sense of and feel of their home environment while they are in my care. I have access to a park nearby my home which will allow me to walk your family pet two times a day. I also have a big yard where they can play and run around in case you’re not comfortable with the Park walks.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like meeting the clients first hand before taking them on. I want to interact with them and their furry babies. I believe this establishes a sense of comfortability and peace of mind that their loved ones are in good hands.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was in the West Coast Grooming Academy and Pet care. I’ve excelled in my courses and I am certified in Pet CPR and multi levels of Grooming Services at the end January 2019.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
My pricing system is based on a common module used by Grooming services in the Area and Modules modeled from the Grooming Academy. As the Groomer and Pet sitter I will be fair and charge prices accordingly to services provided and to sizes of the pet. As the sole proprietor of this service I will be competing with others in the immediate area who only ‘provide grooming and not sitting services.
How did you get started in this business?
it’s always been a passion of mines to love and care for pets especially those who are rescues. As a pet owner myself I expect nothing less than a 5 star treatment and care for my babies. I recently had a bad experience with someone I left in charge of my furry babies. This incident left me with such a deep disappointment that it sparked my passion forward from an idea to reality. I enrolled in school and I’m being trained to do the very thing I did on a regular basis at home but now professionally with more knowledge and a lot of skills.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I’ve worked with local members in and around my community. I hope to expand that network In the near future one day. I ‘ve also worked with clients at the Grooming academy, this has allowed me to get familiarized with different breeds and sizes. Along with different Temperaments.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently volunteered at an animal shelter and provided all the dogs with grooming services. This was an experience I’ll never forget and look forward to again once I’m certified.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
The advice I’d give would be to look into certifications, training and professionalism of the pro. I believe that anyone in this industry who cares genuinely for animals should display their love and passion for them naturally.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Questions I’d ask would be in reference to training, certifications, length of time in the industry and how would they care for your pet. Maybe ask for suggestions in grooming styles for their furry babies...
