About
I believe that dogs should be a part of the family and included in as many activities as possible. Based on this I bring my clients dogs into my home and incorporate them into our daily activities. They get to go out on 2 walks a day, sleep in my bed (if they choose to), and get to go to the barn where I keep my horse! My goal is to make my clients dogs as happy as possible while they are away from their families. So far so good, I even have a few dogs that don’t want to leave once they have been with me. I have had dogs all my life and all of various breeds. Some say I speak dog but I’ll leave that up to you to decide.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to gather some information about your dog prior to meeting. It’s important to make sure that our initial meet and greet is positive and harmonious for all dogs involved.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have life experience as my training and education. I have had dogs and horses in my life for 48 years. There is no better training than actual hands on work. I am CPR Certified.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
$20/day per dog. Owners are to supply their own dog food and dog treats.
How did you get started in this business?
I got started when my friends would go on vacation and would leave their dogs with me. They noticed how happy their dogs were while they were gone and so I decided to start a business.
What types of customers have you worked with?
My customers are all 4 legged but usually limited to dogs and horses.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently had a Yorkie staying with me over the holidays. She fell right inline with my dogs and would snuggle up next to me in bed at night. When her parents came to pick her up she was outside with me taking down Christmas lights and her parents said, “wow she’s so happy, she just hangs out and follows you everywhere, it’s like a vacation for her”.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Make sure you have a meet and greet in person! Don’t just hire anyone to care for your pet. Make sure your pet is comfortable with the person you are going to hire.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Is there a schedule? Dogs do best on schedules or routines.
Where will my dog sleep?
where will my dog be while you’re not home?
Will my dog get exercise?
