I work to create spaces that feel just right for the people that actually use them. Rather than decorating to a style, we design rooms that are filled with function and emotion and stuff you love. Useful pieces, not just items that look good on a shelf. (though sometimes, finding just that right piece that sits there makes you happy...so that useful right there!)
My comprehensive design degree is from UCLA and I have done residential and commercial interior design. Houses are way more fun than banks, let me tell you! I am an innovative thinker, and love to come up with creative solutions. My recycled sweater felt jewelry has been in a couple of coffee table books, I have done DIY spots on tv (check my website) and often blog about products I love. I believe more stuff is not the way to happiness and love to use vintage items where appropriate.
Teaching clients how to "see" is really rewarding. I love when a new friend suddenly gets it, or feels like they are heard. Solving problems with design is exhilarating.
My process is more about solving the problem than selling you on something you don't need. I understand your budget constraints and love a good DIY when it is the best option.
You will feel inspired and more capable after a consultation!
