Titan Pet Services
About
We offer a variety of pet services with love, care, and decades of experience! Our grooming services are home-based. We can come out to pick up your dog for grooming and then return it but please keep in mind that travel expenses outside of a 10-mile radius will incur.
Our experience goes well beyond just dog grooming and boarding. We can also care for your aquarium, pond, small mammals, birds, herps/reptiles, arthropods, and just about anything that isn't considered "livestock"! We also do sitting services for those with horses, goats, sheep, etc.
We also will *travel to care for your critters!
*Travel fees apply beyond 10 miles due to insane gas prices. Again, grooming services are in-shop only.
We love sharing our experiences and experience with people and the animals they love and care for.
We're seasoned aquarists and are comfortable around all pets including monitors, venomous snakes, scorpions, and everything else!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with an assessment of the pet to find out specific needs and go from there. We inspect for mats and any other potential problemsthe pet may have.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have worked in pet grooming for nearly 10 years and are always continuing our education. We have over 40 years of experience caring for aquariums, ponds, and exotic pets such as invertebrates, reptiles, and small mammals.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Prices vary upon services requested.
Animals are extremely diverse, and, like people, each one of the critters in our care is unique. We consider this the most important consideration when we meet new pets.
For grooming, factors include size (pounds), coat condition (dematting fees may apply; skin sensitivity), temperament/cooperation (biting, pulling away, constantly moving), and special handling due to things like medical issues. Travel fees may apply for pickup/delivery services.
Boarding, sitting, and aquarium and pond maintenance are occasionally hourly, travel fees may apply.
How did you get started in this business?
Jacqulyn and Kari met at a large pet store chain in Texas where Jacqulyn was the lead groomer and Kari ran the fish and small animal department.
Jacqulyn has always loved animals and began grooming as a "challenge" from a friend. She fell in love with it quickly and has been doing it ever since!
Kari began keeping aquariums, invertebrates, and reptiles at a very young age and devoted his life to learning about and caring for them professionally over 40 years ago. His first job was at a small tropical fish store in Scottsdale at the age of 14! Later jobs included management positions in pet shops, fish stores, and tropical fish hatcheries and wholesalers, and most recently (until COVID) running the freshwater fish department at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum.
