About this pro

My passion has been and is with animals. My life has been enriched with animals my entire life. Honestly, my first memories is of dogs, cats, and horses. I am one of the lucky ones to have learned so much from all the animals that have passed through my life and that are still in my life. Each and every animal has a unique personality, can never be trained or treated in the same way and all has to be respected in this life.

My love and work is not about winning trophies and awards. My goal is to earn the trust of your pets and owners to show them that they are in loving hands and we will do everything in our ability to take care of your pets while they are in our care.

We care for your pets and our work shows on your pets. We are family owned and operated. I do not overbook and my home environment is a lot quieter and less stressful for your pets.

Meeting people and their pets!

Very knowledgeable and gentle. I am so happy to have Virginia as Our new Pet groomer.

Personal attention to our desires in grooming Snowball. This was our first time we have used Pet Pals (we just moved to Tucson) and her grooming was as good as the groomer in Colorado (the past 7 years)

They were very friendly and accommodating.

I have other specialties, please do not hesitate to ask about them. I am trying to keep this short for you.

How did you get started in this business?

I guess I have always bathed animals since I was a little girl having my own pets. I started bathing my own dogs and horses and from there i would volunteer washing my mothers dogs and my friends. To this day I will bathe my friends pets that are unable to do so themselves. Everyone kept telling me why don’t you start your own shop since your already doing it and you love animals. I used to work at a grooming shop in Texas and in Tucson before I opened my own.

What types of customers have you worked with?

This is a tall question, in my field we work with all kinds of dogs of all sizes, breeds and coats.

To be specific, our type of customer is limited to dogs only! ;-)

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

Recently, I had a customers dog laid his head on my shoulder and this touched me in more ways than one. Unless you groom and bathe dogs, no one truly understands what that means for a dog to do that and how that makes me feel. It's not just the one event, there are several times I get kisses from customer pets that are actually happy to see me!
