Bought a Mobile / Manufactured home in 2018 in Sun Lakes, Sun Lakes, AZ. Not only a professional, but a true friend that held my interests as a number one priority. Goes the extra mile and then some. She anticipated my needs and found me a great home that that I recently purchased. Very knowledgeable of the home buying process and guided me all the way. Thanks Dorothy!

Dorothy was excellent to work with! We decided to sell our house in AZ after renting it for several years. We called several realtors in the area and she called us back personally within minutes. Other realtors had a representative return our call. I didnt care for that. I personally would like to talk to the person I was selling such a large asset with and ultimately giving them a decent sized commission to. For us, who havent lived in the area for awhile, she had a wonderful contact list of professional handymen from painters, flooring and roofers to help us freshen up the house a bit. All reasonably priced. She hired a professional photographer before we listed it and even had a couple of rooms virtually staged to help prospective buyers envision their dream home. This is great for those who are trying to sell a vacant home!

Dorothy is amazing! She proved the best service I’ve ever received from a professional in any industry. I don’t say that lightly, but her attentiveness, honest feedback, and ability to truly understand what you’re seeking is unmatched. She is easy to communicate with, stays on top of industry and market changes, and provides outstanding advice. Highly recommend!

    Frequently asked questions

When I work with a NEW BUYER I like to have a one hour meeting with them so we get to know each other.  I want to listen to what they want.  This is extremely important. I need to understand their wants & needs and their financial budget. I have a book that I go through with them so they have a roadmap, so to speak, of what we will be doing.  This way there are no surprises. They keep it and can refer back to it throughout the process. If they haven't been pre-qualified I give them 3 names of reliable lenders. These are people I have done business with for years that will have their best interest at heart. I stay with them throughout the process so they aren't guessing what's next.  I keep in touch afterwards so that if there are issues I'm still around to help. My goal is to be their agent for life.

For my SELLER clients, I first look up all the information about the area before I go to the home for a visit.  I get as much information as possible about their home as I can.  I find the most recent sales and what's available in the general area. When I arrive at the property I let the sellers guide me as to how they want to progress. Some want to show me the house first, others want to talk.  It's important we get to know each other because we will be seeing a lot of each other in the coming weeks. I need to gather the logistics of when, where and how the move is taking place. What services can I provide to make it easier for them. It's not about me, I have all the credentials a seller could possibly want, it's about what the seller needs. Do they need staging? Do they need a quick sale? Do they need help with contractor recommendations? Am I the right personality?   There are a lot of moving parts in a sale I just need to be able to provide them quickly and the most cost effectively as possible for them.

I have been helping buyers and sellers since 1980. I started my sales career in Texas.  I became a Real Estate Broker in Texas in 1984. Texas requires 900 sitting classroom hours before you can test to be a broker. When I moved to Arizona the State required I have another 180 classroom hours before I could sit for their test. During these years I acquired the National Association of Realtor Designations, which required many more hours of study, of CRS, ABR, E-Pro and SFR. I was also fortunate enough to work for a national production builde, David Weekley Homes, that gave me 6 weeks of intense training in construction. I am not your typical agent. I offer buyers and sellers experience, institutional knowledge, and integrity.  If that's what you are looking for in an agent then hire me now.

No, everything is negotiable.  I am not a discount broker.

Prior to 1980 I was a property Manager of 395 apartment units for 5 years. I was a single parent and wanted to supervise my children as they grew up. That job offered me the flexibility that I needed. I had my real estate license but never used it. My  community was sold and the new management company brought in there own people and no longer needed my services. A friend from college owned a brokerage and on a casual outing with some friends we ran into each other and he asked me to try it out. Since I had so many tenants as a base it was an easy transition. I've been doing it ever since

I am a  Navy Federal Realty Plus Select Agent, Cartus Affinity Specialist. Almost every relocation company. I've worked with doctors, lawyers, engineers, mechanics, police officers, firemen, the LGBTQ community, Republicans, Democrats,  pretty much every race, color & creed.  Everyone needs a house!
