I have over 40 yrs experience with all kinds of pets from cows to snakes. Gemma is my female Chihuahua/mix that gets along well with every kind of pet she has ever met. I foster fear & senior dogs along with ones I find (cats too) until they find their forever family. Gemma has met many animals all sizes, ages & temperament. Some have issues like fear & aggression, old age & health problems, so she has become quite an asset in helping them overcome many different issues. If there is an issue there is a way I can keep your pet(s) in separate areas of the house as I've had to with medical dogs until they were well enough to socialize.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Ask detailed questions about their pet(s) daily routine, dislikes & likes. Discuss prices, services & dates. Then a meet & greet with my dog and customers dog(s) at a neutral place. Email customer details for approval.

How did you get started in this business?
I never ever saw so many dogs roaming everywhere, until I moved to Phoenix from the East Coast. I realized that rescuing animals was my "Thing" or "Calling" because many dogs & few cats would find me. Dogs others were afraid of I was getting off the street on a couch with a full belly on to their forever home. Then when a neighbor asked me to watch his female Pit for a weekend. He said she avoids everyone, just feed her & let her out 2 times a day. When I met her, she came to me, sat & offered a paw! Her owner said I think you should do this full time & charge more than you quoted me. So that's how I started my business.
