I got started in real estate after working in finance and accounting in the corporate world for over 20 years. I was looking for a new career opportunity and was connected with a mortgage company that was doing great things in the industry. After spending 3 years with them, and working with home buyers, I decided that I really wanted to work directly with the client, so I went to school and earned my real estate license in 2006. I enjoy being able to oversee the entire process of buying, selling, and investing in real estate because every transaction is different, and I have the opportunity to help others along the way. Working directly with people to help them achieve their goals is very rewarding, and it also allows me to give back in a number of different ways.

I have worked with a number of different types of customers, and that is what makes real estate so exciting. I love the joy I can bring first time home buyers when I hand them over the keys to their new home. I enjoy helping families sell their home so they can relocate for a new job, or to be closer to family. I get excited when I can help a family who has earned enough equity in their home that they can either buy a larger home because of their growing family, or downsize because they are now empty nesters, and can invest that equity, or use it to pay for their children's college education. I also enjoy helping investors reach their goal of obtaining rental properties for positive cash flow each month, as well as finding great deals where investors can refurbish a home to make it beautiful again for a new buyer.
