About

Because Samaritan Solutions (Formerly Samaritan Landscaping) is a small company, ran by Brandon Gongaware, a lifetime problem solver (Solutionist) who has been honing his skillset since 2002. Graduating HTI in 2002 with an associate's degree in computer programming and internet technology (where problem solving is a KEY skill needed from debugging computer code, to IT troubleshooting, and everywhere in between). Brandon has been in independantly servicing residents of the Phoenix area with tireless enthusiasm since 2008, and offered online support via eBay since 2005. As a native Arizonan, I know the area, climate, and local plant life intimately. I am solely responsible for my own homes appliances, plumbing, electrical, ventallation, etc. Hiring me to "man" wheelhouse [ did I mention I was an assistant engineer on a fishing boat in akaska? (Now the wheelhouse joke makes sense)] I will help solve your problems quickly and efficiently, getting you what you need and be done leaving only satisfied clients and smiles behind. Also ,due to small crew and direct interaction with me the Solutionist, we get to focus on each job with full attention to detail, and come up with a plan suited to your individual needs. Now our competitors may be able to do certain jobs very well, but they lack the extensive range of experience to successfully solve a variety of situations each individual may have. The skills I received as a computer programmer allow me certain insights into successful problem solving skills and the steps to effectively and inexpensively reach a resolution to each situation. I don’t rush through any job whether it be finding a solution to a probl or in completing the task at hand and I stay in continuous contact with my clients (they are clients because the term customer insinuates that I am selling something, but I in fact am no salesmen) so the final project is exactly what the client wanted as laid out in previous communications. Also, due to my businesses small size and low overhead costs, I am able to offer services at well below my competitors. It’s typical on small jobs to only have one or two workers, and me the owner, who is ALWAYS one of the workers on site. So from beginning to end, you can rest assured that nothing is missed, forgotten, overlooked or wrong. If anything somehow does “skip through the cracks”, I pledge that I will make it right. If out-of-the-box ideas and unique concepts are required, in any line of work be it framing, computer performance issues, metal work, I offer up anything but the usual "cookie cutter” ideas. Special services I offer can be found in the list of services provided here on homeguide. Most basic estimates are free of charge unless 10 miles away or more from Avondale AZ. Further than that there is a small fee that, if hired, is deducted from the overall cost. Solution consultations are set at a base cost of $50.00, but include no less than 2 solutions to the presented problem, and both the estimates and the solutions have a 30 validity timeframe, so each client has the opportunity to consult with my competitors. Again I'm not trying to sell anything, only assist my clients in reaching their goals.

I enjoy being able to work outside, at my own pace, and the satisfaction of a job well done as I meet or exceed the clients expectations. You can check out some of my work on Facebook under "Lovers of Landscaping". I have all the tools needed, including specialized task specific equipment as well as unique tools designed and fabricated by me. I don't waste time, money, or resources as I believe ever dollar counts, and I tend not to throw money (mine or my clients) away. I refer to my clients as such, because a "customer" is someone you are selling something to, and client is more of a mutually beneficial relationship. Thank you for your consideration.

Brandon was prompt, professional, and friendly. He did a great job of transplanting two large cacti from the pots theyd outgrown into new homes in the ground. I asked if hed be willing to plant some other shrubs Id just bought, and he worked that into the job after we agreed upon a price. We are very happy with his work.

Punctual, friendly, knowledgeable, professional. He did an excellent job removing 2 8 ft. tall cactus from root-bound pots, and then transplanting them into the ground. Also planted some new shrubs.

Brandon did a great job and was extremely communicative and transparent about everything from pricing to materials. He was flexible and accommodating too. Big fan of what he did with my checkerboard patio, walkway, irrigation, and raised beds!

Provide prospective client with a SOFT quote on labor only (client can provide materials, or I can purchase and deliver at a modest 5% increase for vehicle maintenance and equipment repairs).  Then if the online quote is acceptable, I travel to clients house or business location depending on the job.  There i take precise measurements, evaluate job site for hidden possible issues while addressing issues to up to date.  I then can draw up a written estimate (valid 30 days from date signed) or written work order contract.  If contract is agreed upon, the deposit is due (1/2 TOTAL costs, or 1/2 labor if job is labor only

i received my associates degree in computer programming, which you wouldn’t think would help, but it really does.  The problem solving skills from that education together with more than a decade working with heavy equipment, building pads, roads, etc makes for a very efficient, carefully thought out plan through completion, which means I usually finish a day or two early.
