All my services are a one on one service, with the exception of training (which i keep to a small class size of 5).
I will always be truthful about my abilities, my sitters who work for me, and will let you know if i do not think we can meet your needs.
Please note I do not train your dog for you (as in I do not take your dog and keep them for a time to train them). I help you work with your dog, help you and your dog create a working relationship, teach you how to work with your dog. There is no magic solution, there are many types of training out there. My approach is to create a respectful relationship between you and your dog so that you can then train your dog. Without the relationship the training is much more difficult and can take much longer.
I love seeing the pets and working with them. Some I have worked with for so long that they feel as if they are mine and part of my family.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically begin with a meet and greet, or schedule service, depending on the service requested (pet sitting, grooming, photograhy, training, or dog walking).
In all cases except for photography I request clients to go to my website and enter their information.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been pet sitting and dog walking for over 35 years. Large animal, Farm animal, and general pets have been my focus.
Grooming I have been doing for around 15 years. While I have not attended a professional course, I have been showing and grooming for the last 15 years. It has only been in the last 5 years that I have offered this service to my clients.
Training I have been doing for over 35 years. I do not have certifications in training so I do not work with aggressive dogs or dogs with severe issues. I mainly focus on basics that I have learned and used over the last 35 years. Currently I am using the fit paws training method and have found this to work with basically all breeds and ages.
Pet Photography is a newer passion and I have taken many courses with a professional photographer (Eric Salas). I am now offering pet photography as a new service.

How did you get started in this business?
I have been involved with animals all my life and finally decided in 2000 to make it my career.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with all types of customers and if it is not a good fit I let them know and suggest other resources.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Check multiple sources and make sure your are hiring someone reputable.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Are they Licensed, Insured, Bonded
