After getting a bachelor’s degree in biology, I managed a genetic research lab for about 5 years. Eventually I realized I wanted to do what I have always loved, caring for pets inside and out! I’ve had a passion for animals ever since I can remember, and not just as loving companions. I wanted to know everything about them, from what they thought and how they felt to why they do what they do.

I was fascinated by veterinary medicine and had worked for our family vet while in college so in 2000 I made a career change from laboratory technician to veterinary technician. I learned from some of the best veterinary professionals in Dallas giving me a solid base of knowledge in pet care and medicine. I love helping people by helping them care for their furry family!

In 2007 the entrepreneur bug bit me! I had been a part-time pet sitter while working as a vet tech so that was the logical choice. May of that year I opened Exceptional Pet Sitting!

I am committed to providing exceptional animal care for your furry family. I am Red Cross certified in Pet First Aid and CPR and have 20 years of combined experience in veterinary medicine and pet care. My goal is providing peace of mind by caring for your pets, your home and all of your possessions!
