What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Disuss the problem over the phone, inform about flat rate pricing as applicable, schedule the job, and have all related objects where leak or area of problem is moved or relocated before service.
Free estimates-- are given and defined as being able to visually identify the problem without use of any diagnostic tools, crawling, climbing, or moving objects out the way to troubleshoot the problem.

How did you get started in this business?
I was trained in Hydrualics, Oils, Fuels, Liquid O2, Electrical, and, Airframes while serving as Naval Jet Engine Mechanic and Plane Captain. After the War, I mentored under some Gasfitters and Plumbers in North Georgia and some HVAC techs. I enrolled in every manufactures training course that was offered specific to the the products I was working with. Soon, I became an authority on many of these systems and the Manufacture's service agent for many brands. I also obtained nuclear Valve tech certifications, tube bending, and braizing certs while working as a pipefitter on our local Nuclear Plants. Latter, I joined the railroad for better Insurance and retirement and became burned out with being gone 36 hours at a time. After 10 years of that, I followed my passions back to plumbing full time where quality of life has improved and meeting and helping my community with thier plumbing provides much more satisfaction.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Department of Defence Clients, Veteran Programs, and Certain DOD bank leads because of my Background Checks.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Be Patient, there is a shortage of craftsmen in our industry, and we are seeing shortages of some supplies.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Can they take a picture of the problem and text it? Although this is not nessisary, it helps greatly so the technician can have the right parts or be prepared for a specific make or model of something.
Are thier any special needs family or pets that need to be addressed while service techs need to go in and out many times.
Understand the risk of repairs, most old valves have 50% chance of leaking after being used once after a long time which could mean additional repairs needed. Just turning off the water at the main can cause Old metal pipes in your sysyem to fragment or cause lodged debris to move and clog faucets. These are all risks of repairs and are just part of any job.
