About
I do dog walking and small dog sitting in my home. I have over 40 yrs experience with dogs. I have my own personal dogs and I also foster dogs for Home at Last Dog Rescue.
Each of my clients receive love, kindness and respect. I take the time to know my clients, their likes and dislikes and always end our walks with a treat.
I do Small Dog sitting in my home. All of our guest's must be fully vaccinated and neutered/spayed. My personal dogs as well as my fosters are always up to date with their vaccines and we use flea/tic & heartworm preventative. When my guests are with me I will message their family every other day with an update and picture.
All dogs in my care are loved and treated like family.
I have always loved dogs and working with them. My business allows me to meet and work with all different types of dogs. Some of my guests are dogs that I have fostered for the Rescue I work with. I love to see them so happy in their forever homes and their families. All the dogs that I dog sit are treated like family. I take the time to introduce them to my dogs so they all get along.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If it is for dog walking, I go to thier home to meet them and their pup. We discuss times, days for walking. I give them a contract which has all info I may need if there is an emergency, along with any information I may need re: is dog a jumper when they meet people, what is their reaction to other dogs, cats, squirrles, etc. Does the dog pull on the leash, etc. I take time to include dog by petting and treats so they will recognize me. The first few weeks I will text the client after the walk to let them know all is well, after that I send random texts, if the client is comfortable.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a high school grad with some college. I have raised 3 children and have 7 grandchildren. My husband & I are dog lovers. I have had dogs all my life and have trained all of them. Experience is the best teacher. The Rescue I work with has a experienced dog trainer ( 16 yrs) that is always available should I need any help. I have attended many of her classes which has given me more information for dealing with issues that are not an every day occurance.
