About Space is a family owned company, involved in the self-storage business and commercial space rental since 1979. Our mission is to provide our customers with friendly and knowledgeable advice from our staff, a clean and safe space to store their property or operate their business or hobby from, with affordable and fair rates while doing so.
I have worked at About Space Walton facility for over 2 years and I enjoy meeting all of the new, current, and previous tenants. I have had to pleasure of getting to know some wonderful people during their time of change or organization by using a self storage unit.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
As a new customer we will discuss your storage needs to find the right size storage unit for you. Review sizes and prices then give a tour of available units for you to view. As an About Space employee we do everything we can to make your storage unit rental quick and easy.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Managers at About Space attend yearly conferences to keep up to date on the laws and new products to run the facility at its best.

The pricing system here at About Space is unique due to our 1 year rent rate guarantee. The day you sign your lease even with a month-to-month lease your rent rate will remain the same if you stay for a year.
How did you get started in this business?
About Space is a local family owned business. I started in the self storage services by knowing the family and working closely with senior managers.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with college students, home owners, business owners, and many more customers from all over the area. Some tenants only need to rent a storage unit for 1 month and some choose to rent a storage unit for years, it all depends on the need for storing items.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Recently I have had the pleasure of working with new parents and/or grand parents.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I would suggest that you ask questions about the rent rate and how long your rate will stay at the price you sign the lease for at that time.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Customers should consider what size of a unit they will need by researching and reviewing what items will be stored and for how long.
