For that, we charge only $45.00 which is taken off if we get hired. If not, you still get the professionally taken measurements. Others charge more just for a measure appointment.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
It's really just about quality treatments for less and honest services. We also do Consults/Measure's and Estimate Appointment's, Shop at Home and Professional Installation Services. All which is backed by over 40 years of experience in the Family Decorating Business. I continue the family business in Upstate NY, where I specialize in only Window Treatments and all of its contents. Professionalism, Quality, and Trust. My parents did it then and I continue the legacy.

The imnitial serivce charge is $75.00 for measure/estimate and consultation.
How did you get started in this business?
I grew up in the Decorating business and began working with my father at age 11. My parents started the company in 1954 with a small store & workroom which becamE a large enterprise comprising of a workroom for treatments and upholstery work, a furniture store and a Design Showroom. I inherited the business in 1988 and after many years, I sold all assets, properties and accounts to a competitor in 2019. I now specialize in window treatments.

Saint Patrick’s Cathedral, New York, NY
Re-upholstered the Alter’s throne in two days and “on site” to prepare for the Pope’s surprise stop. Re-finished Cardinal O’Connor’s 400 year old desk which is now being used by Cardinal Dolan. Also provided custom drapery, upholstery, blinds and carpeting for the living quarters and rectory.
The Jumeirah Essex House Hotel, New York, NY
Renovated and decorated 75+ condominiums and major suites often for high profile celebrity and VIP’s with long term stays. I designed and installed window treatments, wall covering, furniture, art work etc. to appeal to their individual style as well as extended my services to their 632 room Hotel.
The Ramada Plaza Hotel, New Rochelle NY
Awarded the Renovation of the Year Award, selected from 1,000 Ramada locations.Managed entire renovation from concept to completion. Project entailed: design, construction, decoration and manufacturing services for 128 suites, new restaurant, lounge, conference rooms, all corridors lobby, new ADA baths and reception area
The United Nations Building, New York, NY. Provided the Paraguay and Italian Consulate’s re-decorating with upholstery of seating, carpet and draperies for each of their offices and lobby areas
Westhab Community Housing Projects, Westchester County & NYC Years of creative problem-solving striving to meet goals with limited Section 8 Housing budgets. One project involved tiling, painting and window treatment services for a new apartment build with 80 units.
Marriott Hotel Corporation, New York and Westchester County, NY Designed and fully renovated two locations. Included were the lobbies, reception areas, café, children’s playrooms, laundry, conference rooms and new ADA rest rooms. All black out drapery and sheers for the suites.
