What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Customer lead is created. We assess the project as remodel or new construction and proceed according to the project. Appointments are made or easy phone and email conversations are had. Estimates and drawings are provided. We follow the project from beginning to end because we provide all services and products through our business.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Contractors class and licensing.
We have over 6 years of doors history.
We maintain current buiding code standards do our absolute best to be up to date on the best products and procedures.
Some of us have grown up in the construction world and have many years of construction based history.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
We do our best to give the best rates and be as competitive as possible. Our primary pricing is based on the product size at $115 sq/ft. This cost includes the door unit with all weather stripping, any color we have available, any glass option we have available, Dual pane sealed glass, and heavy duty metal screens where appropriate.
We do our best to provie handles so the clients don't have to sort that out yourselves and standard type hadles are $300 per set and include a basic deadbolt.
Installation begins at $350 for a new construction single door and $1000 for a single retrofit. Steel trim is an upgrade and is suggested to give the Iron Door a magnificent finished look. It is a like product to match the door.
How did you get started in this business?
We had a need for a second amazing business based in Southern Utah that provided an outstanding customer service and Custom Door experience. We opened in 2014 and have only seen growth and love from our excellent clients. Our team loves working here and is a long term group because we provide the best service.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We work with clients who are looking to update their home, build a new home, or even just want a great conversation. It happens occasionally that we are out of budget as our product is a major upgrade, but All of our clients are pleased with us.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We have found a niche with Designers, The Parade Of Homes here in St George Utah is one of our favorite times as designers pick from standard styles to even hand drawing door designs. This is awesome as it shows our ability to customize. This in itself helps us get exposure to help folks that are on a tight budget all they way up to the folks building custom homes or even businesses.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?

What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
The biggest questions we see is the "Average door size" question. We definitely accomodate to this size as all of our product is essentially custom built to the specs we require.
