Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Hi... My name is Jim. After 40 years of cleaning Carpet, Upholstery, and Tile/Grout here in Las Vegas and Henderson, you can expect one on one service. You can either call or text to get an estimate on your cleaning needs. Look forward to hear from you.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm personally certified through IICRC in Carpet, Tile and Grout Cleaning, Upholstery Cleaning, Carpet Repairs, Spot Dying, Water Restoration, Mold Remediation. I've been a Senior Carpet Inspector through Dupont.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Pricing is based on project. I don't just tell you 3 rooms for $99. I'm not going to up sell you because my price was low to start. I'm at your service to provide you just that.
How did you get started in this business?
We had a maintenance business that we started here in Las Vegas in 1977. One of our largest contract buildings burnt to the ground and in 1982 wanted to do one thing and do it right. Carpet cleaning seem to fit the bill. There have been a lot of changes since then, but still keep abreast of the latest techniques.
What types of customers have you worked with?
During the boom to 2008 we worked for many of the Home Builders here in Las Vegas. We started of with Lewis Homes which was turned into KB Home. We worked for KB Home for 25 years. We did most of their customer service, and model home carpet cleaning.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
A customer called me back and said that there's a spot that seems to keep coming back in the family room after I clean. I set another appointment with her to take a look. She had also mentioned that it only seemed to appear in the afternoon. I made sure to go out a little later in the day to see what was going on. When I arrived she showed me the area. Sure enough, there was a spot. After 40 years doing this it took about 5 seconds to realize what was going on. I opened the sliding door and the spots disappeared. There was a hand print on the glass which cast a shadow on the carpet.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Don't always go by price. Make sure to use a Hot Wate Extraction Method with a clean water rinse.
