I've enjoyed caring for animals since I was a kid. My family is big on animals so we always had pets, always cared for pets until they found a home, and if we could no longer do so we always found a safe place or family for them to be with when we couldn't care for them. We never left any critters where they would've been cared for or I'm danger. Animals mean just as much to me as my own family. I tend to get along better with animals because in my opinion, they take time to get to know you more than most humans do. They care more about trying to figure out who is a threat or a dangerous presence and I feel that makes them smarter especially when they do always figure it out almost immediately with their great senses. Humans tend to live blindly, trusting people after only getting to know very little about them. For now I work alone until I can use my own senses to sniff out (figuratively speaking) good candidates I can trust to care for animals as passionately as my family and I.
