What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Don't base your selection on price. Make sure the electrical contractor you hire has the experience and knowledge to complete your scope of work properly and within your specified timeline. Make sure your contract also has a history of working in your area to ensure that they will be around in the future should issues arise. Make sure the contract you choose is licensed, bonded and insured and provides lien wiavers for the work they provide. Check their rating with the BBB.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Ask for the pros BBB rating. Ask the number of years that the pro has been servicing an area. Ask for references.
