About
I have a strong passion and connection with animals and always have been able to communicate and understand their needs and wants. I also am a great communicator and love talking with humans as well ;) I love them as though they are mine while you’re away so that they don’t feel lonely and miss you.
I love observing animals and if there’s more than one dog/cat/ combo( whatever kind of animals) I love watching the interaction and how they are with each other and than with me too. I have journals filled with stories and hilarious happenings between the animals I’ve cared for. :)

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We can email or text, we will meet either in public at first or at your home and I will meet you and your animals and get to know them a bit and if it’s a good fit for all of us we can proceed to set up for care while you’re away from there.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Life time of experience mainly but I do educate myself on basic things. I have taken many classes in the past regarding the care and needs of animals. I took a veterinary class in high school and many life science/animal biology classes.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I typically charge $40-$45 a day. One dog with the usual care routine ( including walks, potty time, general around the home care like watering flowers and getting the mail) is $40/ day. $42.50 for 2 dogs or 1 dog 1 cat etc with general care (walks, potty time, mail pick up, watering flowers, cleaning kitty box) 3 or more animals I do $45 for the same general care. Each situation is different, some animals need more attention or care than others. I feel that my time and dedication is worth these rates as I do take pride in all I do. I love your animals as though they’re my own 😊
How did you get started in this business?
Like I said from a very young age, I’ve had a connection with animals and have loved them and caring for them. When I was about 11 I began caring for my neighbors dogs. She had me come up with a plan and how much I would charge and everything. I loved it and branched out to taking care of animals for other neighbors and it rebooted in 2009 and picked up. Now 10+ years later, I am able to do just dog/housesitting! It is my passion and I am happiest when I’m doing it, I truly believe this is my purpose on earth is 😊
What types of customers have you worked with?
I’ve had all kinds of breeds of dogs, many cats, fish, a gecko, a salamander, rabbits, a piggy. I grew up helping on a farm briefly with basic cow and horse experience. I volunteered with Courage Center (now Courage Kenny I believe) and their horse riding program for physically disabled children. I’ve have also cared for goats and chickens. All ages including some elderly, some with one leg gone, some who can’t hear or see. I have experience in giving medication for dogs and cats and have no worries of doing so.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Well when the quarantine happened, it got dark emotionally. Some days I felt physical pain from not being able to work with my animals. It is my true passion.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Word of mouth is wonderful I have a group of families that trust me so much that their friends hire me without even meeting me simply because their friends trust me. Find someone with a true passion for what they do. They are loving, kind and responsible with a true passion and ability with animals.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
If they've been around animals before
