Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The initial meeting is crucial in determining the direction of the design project. It's a bit on an interview....what you require and how I can best help you.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have twelve years of Retail Staging/Merchandising. Additionally I have 10 experience with Historic Remodel, as my own home and guest cottage was built in 1883.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
We offer an hourly rate for design clients who have a smaller design budget. This allows them to get a "to-do" list and move forward on their project as time permits.
Full Service Design Projects will be inventoried and studied to create a Flat Fee for the Design portion of the budget.
How did you get started in this business?
After working as a professional for a number of years with a marketing degree, I decided to follow my true passion for interior design. I went back to school to obtain a degree with the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. I have an affinity for vintage elements, all design styles. I believe this allows me to fully engage with my design clients to see their vision.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We have worked with residential and commerical clients. Offering consultation work all the way up to full design services.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Make your your professional is not trying to create THEIR vision.... Our goal is to realize YOUR design dreams with some edits and tweeks, making it the best it can be.
