What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Always ask if the contractor is licensed, has insurance coverage for the type of work to be performed. The price should be the same cash or credit. Discounted electrical work can be a danger, remember the electrical inspectors job is to check the contractors work for compliance with the safety codes.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
What type of use is the area going to have will govern the electrical needs. Always plan on a job taking longer than expected due to the fact that often hidden issues need to be addressed, only discovered when the technician is on site.
