After a career in architecture and landscape design marketing, and working with real estate developers and their agents, I’ve seen all phases of how and what homes are built, sold and maintained. I use that knowledge to provide an accurate evaluation and correction plan to every handyman task for the customer.
I enjoy solving minor to major home improvements and repairs that I can affect and implement. I get satisfaction from doing a professional job and being compensated directly for that effort. Over a 30 year career I can recognize the most cost effective and practical approach to a customers provlem.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Upon receiving a request for services, I ask customer to text photos of the project so I may offer a rough estimate of time and materials. I go to customer to inspect an issue and write a comprehensive estimate. I then schedule a convenient day and time to perform the work. If there are unexpected or hidden problems, I communicate and revise the estimate to fit the time required to complete the job fully.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
30 years of home and loft renovation and building. I worked along side every discipline and understand what I’m capable of performing and what should be handed off to a specific trade.

I charge by the hour based on an agreement with the customer. That includes a trip charge for the first hour and my regular hourly rate for balance of the effort.
