Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The main key is clear communication of what needs to be done, the estimated time of completion and payment method. Everything else falls smoothly into place.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My partner and I have over 50 years of experience including trade school, working for commercial and residential companies, and having our own successful businesses.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Each job is different however we clearly quote prices to our customers so there is no confusion or problems in this process.
How did you get started in this business?
HNDY started by two successful contractors who both realized customer service, reasonable pricing, and quality was missing in the home remodeling business.
What types of customers have you worked with?
All types of customers of course. However we have noticed even challenging customers are happy with our results once they see we are definately different from many other companies in the Atlanta area.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
It would have to be our families enjoying dinner and fun together.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Always hire based on the communication skills of the contractor. A contractor that is always late and never returns phone calls will be challenging to deal with for the entire job experience.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
1. What is involved with this project
2. About how much time will be needed to complete it
3. What budget am I willing to work with
