I’m known to many as “the garage door girl”; I've a built a strong reputation in the Atlanta and surrounding areas for providing a great experience and overseeing a job well done. From our initial contact, to scheduling appointments, providing quotes, placing orders, and managing installations, I choose to be your right hand during your project. I enjoy helping our customers find the right products and services for them and their home. Not every home is the same, and not every customer is the same. I believe having a personalized experience tailored to every customer is the way to put a smile on their face, and hopefully, bring another loyal customer into our "Adroit Family" (that's what we call ourselves). Knowing I've done all that I can at the end of the day for my customers brings a sense of pride and joy.
I’ve been in the construction industry for a little over seven years, and in garage doors for three. In a predominantly male industry, I’ve worked really hard to master my skills and become an expert in all things garage doors. I make it a priority to stay up to date on the latest products and techniques of all makes and models so that I can offer my customers the best of the best, and provide them knowledgeable information to help them make informed decisions.
At home, I have four kids, three cats, and a wonderful husband. In my spare time (obviously there isn’t much), I enjoy doing yoga, growing vegetables, writing poetry, and drinking anything with espresso! What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, We collect a little bit of information about the customer so that when we visit or send information, we know exactly where to send all correspondence to.
Second, We talk for 5-10 minutes to discuss the services and products needed. This will help us to better understand exactly what the customer is looking for so we can deliver.
Third, We provide a courtesy consultation at the service location to verify measurements and which products/services are needed. Often times, this information does change from the intial phone call as it is difficult to make assessments over the phone.
Fourth, We provide a quote with an exact price and wait for the customer's approval.
Fifth, Once approved, we schedule a time and day to complete the work!
Sixth, We provide 24/7 customer and technical phone support so that if ever another issue arrives, we are there to help you.
Seventh, Hopefully we've done our jobs right and will be everyone's preferred garage door service for years to come!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
#1- Always check reviews of the company you are going to hire. Don't always dwell on the bad reviews, but instead, look at how the company responds to them. This will give you better insight as to how their issues are handled and if you ever needed them to make a return visit, you'll be able to see if this is done.
#2- Before any work is completed, ensure you have a finalized contract of work so that the price does not change. As garage door repairs and installations are considered a specialtly construction trade, licensing is not required and so Georgia companies are not regulated as they should be.
#3- Also, before any work is completed, request a copy of the state business license to ensure they are a real company, and request a certificate of insurance to protect your home and property.
$4- Make sure to receive a receipt of your work done, so should a defect in service arise, you can request a warranty re-call.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Q: What is my budget?
You should always know what your budget is before hand and discuss this with your specialist so that we can try to stay within this for you.
Q: How long do I want the repairs to last?
If you need a garage door repair, but plan on replacing your garage doors in the next 2-5 years, purchasing top of the line products with extended warranties does not make financial sense. If your garage door is in great shape, but just a piece or two has broken, you may want to think about investing into upgraded hardware with extended warranties, and perhaps a maintenance plan as well.
