was very happy with the work Green Calstate construction did for me and would definitely recommend them to others in the EBB retrofitting program. Their bid was very competitive, the workers were professional and pleasant, and the inspector signed off at the first inspection. They helped me navigate the EBB website and get everything processed for the reimbursement.

The first available appointment with an estimator was nearly 4 weeks out, however he provided me with a quote before he left that day (other companies could come out faster, they required several days to return a bid, however). Upon acceptance of their bid, the staff in the main office was very helpful. A few weeks later they scheduled the work. My single family home of approximately 1,600 sq feet required 3 days of retrofitting work. The workers were friendly and efficient. They cleaned up after themselves and then they assisted me with the EBB website and processing my reimbursement. The check arrived about 3 weeks after everything was uploaded.

We were asked about any questions or concerns we had regarding general remodeling situations and everything we inquired was answered in a thorough manner Had to get my Kitchen remodeled. Great job guys. I really appreciate everything u guys did. The whole family loves the new Kitchen Im completely satisfied with the work theyve done and I would refer them to anyone who needs any work done . Highly recommend

After looking around for several days, I came across Green Calstate Construction. I was amazed with how polite and respectful they were with all my questions and concerns. They made feel very comfortable. I got my bathroom renovated just how I imagined. The price was amazing. The job was completed in three weeks. I was so satisfied with the out come. I will definitely come back to them if I need anything else renovated.

Our family interviewed a couple of contractors to help us remodel our guesthouse. From the start, James came with a professional and exciting energy that made us feel comfortable with going with Green Cal state construction . James was upfront about what he thought was possible/safe and you knew he was paying attention because he always brings a pad full of notes on the project! Although Green Cal was not the lowest quote, we appreciated the reasonable, itemized and thorough estimate!

For this particular project, we had our guesthouses kitchen, flooring, and bathroom redone. The remodel looks immaculate! The best part about working with James and Green Cal state was their dedication to quality and speed (it was not one or the other). Ive worked with other contractors and they were NEVER on schedule. I was shocked at how quickly they moved through the house. However, I also really appreciated James dedication to quality. Our piping was completely outdated and James automatically updated the piping because his team didnt feel comfortable with the old piping (I LOVE THAT!) On top of that, James was great about communicating timelines, expectations, and questions with me. Im usually at work during business hours so James was great through e-mail and text which I really needed to complete this project.

With any project there can always be hiccups. James and team never try to deflect blame or make excuses. I think this is extremely important and speaks volumes to their character. James always tries to make all things right. This is why I will be working with them again in the future! Do not hesitate to give them a call!

Fantastic!!! They came in under budget and on time! Home builders were prompt with responding to our questions. Communication was so much better than other companies weve used. We always knew what the plan was and who would be coming to our home. Subcontractors were polite and did great work. We love our new kitchen!!!
