What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We always provide all of our clients with a free, no obligation quote and estimate for the work they need done. Usually, our clients know exactly what they'd like to get done and what their budget is for their project so we talk it over and come to an agreement as to the terms and cost of the proposed project. When we've come to a mutual agreement, we then set up a day and time to get started on the job and
arrange for any deposits/materials if applicable.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have more than a decade of experience and have been educated in home improvement, painting, masonry and handyman work as well.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
We base our prices on Square Footage, amount of time it will take to complete, whether or not the paint/primer will be purchased by the client, and whether or not doors, trim, or baseboards will also needed to be done.
How did you get started in this business?
This company was started by just doing small painting jobs on the side for my Mom and family. The more I painted, the more I realized that this could be a really
enjoyable way to make a living!
What types of customers have you worked with?
We've worked with doctors, former NBA personnel, Government Officials, and professional musicians alike.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Upon painting the interior of a doctors home, he was so impressed with our work that he gave us an $80 tip
before we even completed all of the painting!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
When looking for the right pro to do work for you, consider their experience, ask them questions about how they would intend to go about completing your project. When you decide to hire someone you feel is right for your professional needs, make sure that all of the terms and conditions are clear and get EVERYTHING in writing!
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Consider all of the factors involved for a pro to successfully complete your project.
1) Are there any pets in the home? If so, will they be present while the pro is set to paint your home?
2) Will there be accent walls requiring a different color? If so, point out the areas of the accent color so your pro can measure those walls and give you an accurate estimate as to how much paint is needed for your project.
3) If you are opting to have the pro purchase and/or pick up the paint, which finish in each color is needed? For Example: "I will need 3 gallons of the 'Silky Bamboo' color in semi-gloss finish, please."
4) Do you have any time constraints or a deadline to
get your project finished by? If so, let your pro know
and coordinate the project timing accordingly.
