What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process is simple, I make this about you and your needs. Whether you are Buying or Selling your first or 10th home, I want to make sure we both have a clear objective. Without understanding your needs, our time is spent on the wrong things. My goal is to make the process easy. At least, as easy as it can be. From the begining, my buyers and I will work up a wants and needs list. Make sure that we have pre-approval from a lender. This shows the seller we are prepared and able to complete the process. From there, we start shopping. Once we have a identified your home, we go to work getting an offer accepted and open escrow. Escrow is full of timelines for us to complete the needed inspections, repair requests, appraisal and funding of the loan. GET THE KEYS AND CELEBRATE!

In real esate, there is no set proce for hiring a professional. Every clients needs are different. That being said, for a buyer, the commision being paid is determined by the seller and sellers agent. For my clients selling a home with me, I look at many factors and charge a commision that is fair and agreed upon by both. I am here to partner with you through the process.
How did you get started in this business?
I got started in real estate during the 90's while attending college. I had purchased and sold a home and condo with different agents and was shocked by the experiences being vastly different.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with all sorts of clients. Those needing to relocate, first time home buyers, investors, families up sizing homes and retired couples looking to down size.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
First thing to consider, what is the motivation of the agent you are looking to use? Are you a client for life or just another commision check. This is the biggest and most important part of selecting an agent. Make sure they are going to partner with you and not just work to get you in a home.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
This depends on your experience with real estate. If you are a first time home buyer, make sure they are willing to be ready to answer questions and make sure you are comfortable with the process. Know that you will have moments of doubt, (buyers remorse) this is normal. its a big deal to purchase your future home. A good agent is there to walk you through the process, not tell you what to do.
