Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1call set up time to meet. Meet them hopefully work if we agree on a price.

10 years of hauling loads

certified welder /electrician on call 24 hours
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Generally just by the job. But we can do hourly if it can be agreed on. And I do my very best to not raise the price ever. It has happened, but only if the customer adds on more than originally agreed on. I can and will go down if it turns out much easier than I anticipated, but I don't go up unless it's absolutely necessary and that's only happened maybe 2-3 times since 2010. And 100's of jobs...!
How did you get started in this business?
Noticed a high need for honest laborers mostly for close family friends and relatives. (in the beginning) and just how much work that's out there that people can't or just don't want to do.
so I Ran with it. And it's turned into a lot more than just mowing grass. Now we have a dump trailer, & other trailers, multiple mowers of all sizes, 2 tractors, and just about any and every smaller tools needed for almost every construction type job. With a very few exceptions. I don't have a stump grinder anymore... that's a full time business in itself and a huge liability, I believe. But we've got too much to list and too much to carry on just 1 truck... not bragging, at all. I just mean there is not much we can't do! And we like how different each job is, because just mowing gets old pretty quick. So it's nice to change it up sometimes. For instance build another deck, or outdoor bbq or fire pit..
What types of customers have you worked with?
Any and ALL As long as they pay there's never been any issues that I'm aware of.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
The completion of so many various tasks. Every single time it's done I'm fond of it or we don't quit
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
We May not be the best at anything, and sure aren't the biggest. but compared to the bigger companies, we do the same quality of work, usually cheaper. And we stand behind our work.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Exactly what they want. A budget helps, but an open mind is great. And it's sometimes the most backward seeming thing fixes the job correctly and much easier than some of the "old ways" we all know so well.! Sometimes it takes the old ways so knowing those doesn't hurt either. But knowing when and why to use different tactics is the key to completing the job.
