About
Being in the Air Force now for 20+ years, I have developed a keen eye for attention to detail. It is the little things might go unnoticed that catch my eye during a project. My practice and character is to do the task right the first time, even when no one is looking. While serving the Air Force taught me to have "INTEGRITY, SERVICE BEFORE SELF, and EXCELLENCE IN ALL WE DO!!!"
Being capable of providing a service to my customers that we both are Fortunate to have!! When working on a project, I visualize the bigger picture. The craftsmanship, details, and how the customer is going to enjoy that new deck or piece of land for many years to come.
We all have different thoughts or views on what our little piece of heaven here on earth looks like. For me, I am Fortunate to be able to provide a service that turns that vision into reality for my customers!!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Meet and greet with my customer, to get to know each other. This will help ease any anxiety or fears the customer or myself may have about working together. From there, we will walk through what the customer is looking for and what the task at hand entails. I will make some notes, take measurements, and make some assessments of the project. This will help me create a fair and trustworthy quote for the project. My quote will be emailed to the customer within 24 -48 hours of us meeting, no later guarteed. Next step, I will give the customer the same amount of time, 24 - 48 hours to return an email of their decision to move forward. Once a decision has been made, a contract will be signed in order to start the project. After completion of the project, myself and the customer will walk over the project to ensure we both are satisfied. A Certificate of Completion will be given to the customer and myself. This certificate of completion will be filed for up to 1 year from the date of completion. If the customer should have any questions or concerns during this 1 year period, they can reach out so I can schedule to look at or address any of their concerns.
NOTE: A deposit of 10% down, after the contract is signed is required. No exceptions. When the project is complete, full payment will be due at that time.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I come from a long line and of carpenters, cabinet makers and builders. All of which were or still are masters of the trade. My family taught me the importance of working hard, being honest and what a Good Ole Fashioned hand shake truly means!!!
In, 2002 I joined the Military in order to better my life and serve a country for which I believe in. Over the course of 14 years, I served as an aerospace maintenance craftsman and enlisted recruiter/special forces liaison. Wanting to pursue and complete my bachelors degree I made the transition into the Tennessee Air National Guard. Currently, with the Tennessee Air National Guard I am a Heavy Equipment Shop Supervisor and Operator. Being in the guard now for 7 years, I have completed several courses involving concrete application and finishing, heavy equipment operation and maintenance, electrical applications and troubleshooting, structural building and integrity, as well as some plumbing work.
I graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a bachelors in Electromechanical Engineering Technology with a minor in project management. My true passion is for project management and process improvement. This is the reason for my journey into the contracting business. I have my Project Management Professional certification, Lean Six Sigma Certification, along with various other courses that have given me the ability to assess situations and determine the best plan of action for completing a project.
How did you get started in this business?
In June 2021, I lost my job as a Manager for Amazon. Which, yes was a big hit for my family, but life keeps on going. So, I strapped up my boots, did some soul searching, and prayed about what was to come next. With my type of personality, throwing in the towel was not an option. From there, I looked at all that was going on not just in my life but in other peoples lives. This made me realize that I am actually really FORTUNATE to be where I am. I'm not homeless, I have food, I have a nice ride and Life is pretty darn great!!! This gave me the idea to start up FORTUNATE 615, giving me the opportunity to do what I love the most, spread positivity and making people aware of how FORTUNATE we really are!!!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I had the opportunity to go over to Waverly TN and assist with debris removal and demolition due to the floods in August 2021. There was complete devastation, homes gone, pictures swept away and people living a life of uncertainty.
From my unit at the 118th Civil Engineering Squadron, 5 of us went to provide aid. As we worked through the debris and hauling off of personal belongings, it made me realize again, how FORTUNATE I truly am!! Being there gave me the opportunity to pray with people that may have lost their business, home or even a loved one!! God works in mysterious ways, and I feel he used me to help during a time when someone less fortunate needed it the most.
